Customs Tips - Hong Kong & Macau:

  • Passengers must prepare the required travel documents (e.g. passport, identity card, valid visa) before traveling.
  • Foreigners (passport holders) are allowed to cross the Hong Kong border by car, but need to go through security checks at the Macau border.
  • Passengers holding Hong Kong Identity Cards (HKID) or China Travel Permits do not need to get off the vehicle to pass through Hong Kong and Macau immigrations.
  • Passengers need to transfer to the Macau vehicle before the Macau border (the whole journey is car to car changing).
  • Please contact customer service at least one day in advance if required a direct car to Macau.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Service time: 7am-10pm, HK$200 for non-working hour.
  • Booking: Please book this service before 24 hours (GMT+8) before departure.
  • Confirmation will be sent to you by email after payment is done, and the driver's information will be sent to you by email before 18:00 one day in advance.
  • Waiting: 30 minutes free waiting for point-to-point service, 60 minutes free waiting for Hong Kong Airport pick-up after flight landing, waiting overtime is HK$380/ hour.
  • Overtime, early morning and night charges: Please pay the driver directly in cash.
  • Cancellation: Full refund for cancellation 3 days in advance, 50% of the fare will be deducted within 48 hours, and full payment will be charged within 24 hours. If you cancel on a day with black rain, typhoon signal No. 8 or above, you can reschedule your trip or get a full refund.
  • Please take care of your belongings, HKS Car Rental is not responsible for any damage or theft before, during or after the ride.
